NAPO-Chicago volunteers are honored to be organizing Cornerstone Community Outreach's Free Store during Get Organized (GO) Month.

Cornerstone Community Outreach, (CCO), an Illinois not-for-profit organization, was founded in 1989 to raise the quality of life of low-income residents. Over the last twenty five years, CCO’s programs have expanded to serve nearly 500 men, women and children daily.

CCO's Free Store allows shelter residents and low-income neighbors to shop for essential clothing and household items. Many of their neighbors come with very little clothing for themselves and their children. The Free Store had over 2,600 “shoppers” throughout 2013.

To volunteer, register here. Wear your NAPO-Chicago shirt (if you have one) and comfortable shoes.
