Barbara Tischler holds a Bachelors degree in social psychology, with a minor in art history, from Occidental College in Los Angeles, CA. She has also studied interior design and drafting. Barbara began her professional organizing business, The Clutter Coach, in 1996. Her main goal is to help individuals lower their stress levels and simplify their lives by helping them gain more control over their household and business environments. Barbara works with people one-on-one to help them organize their homes and offices, and to help them with administrative projects. She also regularly gives organizing presentations through employee and community education programs. Barbara has received a good deal of media exposure, including radio interviews and newspaper articles written both by her and about her business. She is the author of several online articles, and has written the booklet/eBook “36 Home Organizing Ideas for Your Family Around the Year,” the eBook "Get Organized! A Collection of How-to Organizing Articles," and the eBook "Organizing: Paper Management at Home."
