Positive Psychology: A Fascinating Perspective on Achieving Your Best
Mike Bromberg, M.A.
Much of psychology looks at what is wrong with the world: research for disorders will examine those that have the disorder. What if we looked at those that don't have the disorder and ask, "What are they doing right?" This branch of psychology looks at how we can improve ourselves by examining those of us who are above average, so that we can help those that are going through the rough patches of life.

Help Us Help You!
Each year, our incoming and outgoing volunteer board of directors meets in May to build a strategic plan for the upcoming year. During the meeting, input solicited from chapter members is carefully considered and each board member emerges with a plan of action for the upcoming year.
O
ur Chapter President, Laurie Neumann, would like to devote a portion of our chapter meeting to connect board members with our membership - in person! Please come prepared to let us know your thoughts at this pre-Strategic Planning Meeting. Think about how NAPO Chicago can best serve you and your clients. Consider your responses to any of the following questions:
“My membership in NAPO Chicago is valuable but....”
“I like attending chapter meetings but....”
“I would attend chapter meetings but….”
“I consider volunteering but…”
“NAPO Chicago has many strengths but...”
“The chapter board is working on important priorities but...”
If you won't be attending the May chapter meeting, we'd still like your input! You may contact Laurie Neumann before May 11:
