Music School Room Organizing and Paper Management
JoEllyn Sumner is a music teacher for 4-11 year olds at the Flossmoor School District. More than 75% of her students are Black, Latinx, and/or Native American, and more than 50% come from low-income households.
She reached out to NAPO Chicago explaining that she is trying to create a peaceful yet colorful, organized space for her students to learn. The room where she teaches is small and knows she needs professional help to organize the space. The things that need to be organized include: paper, sheet music, games, manipulatives, instruments, bulletin board letters, borders, decor, and instruments.
NAPO Chicago members and business partners are welcome to donate their time, donate unloved instruments and/or donate organizing products.
