SPRING CLEANING: PUTTING A PRICE ON YOUR PURGE

Kelley C. Long, CPA, will teach us how to make spring cleaning with our clients even more rewarding by helping them make a few bucks from the items they are getting rid of! This fun and interesting presentation includes step-by-step navigation of craigslist and eBay, as well as direction on consigning clothing and kids' stuff. It also covers explicit instructions for maximizing tax deductions for those items they would rather donate. Kelley will even help to determine the best method to get rid of everything.

Kelley is a nationally sought-after personal finance expert who is recognized for her gift of breaking complicated financial concepts down into simple terms. She is a member of the National CPA Financial Literacy Commission, which is charged with informing and promoting the Feed the Pig AdCouncil campaign as well as the 360 Degrees of Financial Literacy program. Formerly the head of her own practice, KCL Financial Coaching, she is now the Director of Communications and Marketing for the Chicago-based CPA and business advisory firm Shepard Schwartz & Harris
