Connecting, Learning and Giving Back Together!

Join us for a Field Trip and Community Service Event at Chicago Furniture Bank. Our non-profit Business Partner is hosting us for a behind the scenes look at this incredible organization. And we’ll lend our services to help organize and pack up kitchen supply boxes for their clients. Additional volunteer opportunities may include assisting CFB team with client appointments and warehouse organization as needed.

The Chicago Furniture Bank believes everyone should be able to sleep in a bed, share a family meal at a kitchen table, and enjoy the comfort of a furnished home. Over the past six years the Chicago Furniture Bank has furnished over 18,500 households and impacted over 46,000 people, providing stability, dignity, and comfort to those in need.

What you need to know to prepare for our event:

• The presentation and tour portions of this field trip will be CEU eligible.
  
• Dress casual and comfortable, wear sturdy closed toe shoes, we’ll be walking around and working in a warehouse setting.
• Bring your reusable water bottle, snacks will be provided.
• Bring your NAPO Chicago apron if you have one.
