Professional Code of
Ethics

"The NAPO Code of Ethics is a set of principles to provide guidelines in our professional conduct with our clients, colleagues, and community. As members of NAPO, we pledge to exercise judgment, self-restraint, and conscience in our conduct in order to establish and maintain public confidence in the integrity of NAPO members and to preserve and encourage fair and equitable practices among all who are engaged in the profession of organizing." ~ NAPO National website

Margaret Vimont, LCSW, our presenter for this important topic, is currently the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Jewish Child and Family Services in Chicago.  She began her professional life as a Child Care Worker in residential care and from there received her Masters of Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania.  Through the years, she has held the roles of Therapist and Director of Residential Services, in additional to her current roles. She has a particular interest in designing and providing impactful training experiences in the areas of management, leadership, ethical practice and effecting change.

Please join us for an insightful presentation about the unique professional ethics and boundary issues we face as professional organizers.
